Last Day to Get Triton for Free!

Hi readers!

Today is the last day to download Triton on Amazon for free! So if you haven’t managed to snatch the book up yet, I highly encourage you to do so before it goes back to its regular price! (Click here to be taken to download Triton for free.) For those of you who have already read Triton, if you enjoyed it, please leave a review for it! Every person who leaves a review for Triton is eligible for a FREE, pre-released copy of God’s Loophole.

Yep, I’m dead serious. My PR Rep gets an A+...plus Triton is FREE and Broken Symmetry is now 99 cents!

Hope you guys have been having fun hanging out with my lovely PR rep, Laura Thalassa!!! I let her loose on my blog for like a week and all of a sudden I'm getting five times the page views. Okay, I get it. She's way better at this than I am...and thank God I have her!

Today was a big day, since two giveaways and promotions went live on Amazon. First, Broken Symmetry, which seems to be a favorite among readers, will be only 99 cents for the next 7 days. If you haven't read that one, make sure you hop on over to Amazon and pick it up while it's discounted by clicking here. Here's the promotion banner:

Second, Triton, which is my most recent novel about five teenagers marooned on a cruise ship in the Bermuda Triangle when all 8,000 crew and passengers vanish into thin air--and the spooky mystery that unfolds--is now FREE on Amazon. You can pick that one up by clicking here.

Also, I've got those widgets to those Goodreads giveaways of God's Loophole and Triton that Laura mentioned this week. These are for giveaways of paperback copies. A lot going on this week. It's a bit overwhelming, but my hope is you make it out of here with a lot of free and discounted stuff!

Amazon Giveaway of Triton!

Hi readers,

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow Dan Rix’s YA novel, Triton, will be FREE on Amazon starting tomorrow! If you haven’t managed to pick it up yet, now is a great time (because who can say no to free books?). It’ll only be free for a few days!

Also happening tomorrow, Dan Rix is discounting Broken Symmetry to 99 cents, which in my opinion, is about the same as giving away the book (since it’s about the same price as a pack of gum). If you loved the movie Inception, you need to read this book. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite books of all time.

So mark your calendars for tomorrow and check out these awesome books! And while you’re at it, make sure to add God’s Loophole to your TBR (“To Be Read”) list on Goodreads. I’ll be posting some awesome teasers for Dan’s latest book in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Hugs and happy reading,
Laura

Goodreads Giveaways and Other Freebie Books

Hi readers!

Two giveaways are occurring at the moment on Goodreads, one for Dan Rix’s science fiction thriller, Triton, and another for his YA thriller, God’s Loophole (which comes out on March 27). Dan’s giving away one print copy of each book. If you’re a fan of Michael Grant’s Gone, I’d definitely suggest reading Triton, and if you are a fan of anything by Michael Crichton, you’ll love God’s Loophole. Or if you, like me, just simply love all Dan Rix’s books, then I’d highly recommend checking out both novels!

If you’re not a fan of giveaways but still like free or cheap books, this Saturday, February 22, Triton will be free, and Broken Symmetry will be on sale for 99 cents.

Hugs and happy reading,
Laura

More on God’s Loophole!

Hi readers,

This is Laura Thalassa, Dan Rix’s fiance, fellow author, and newly hired PR representative. (Hehe, I wield so much power.) If you haven’t heard of me, you can click on the tab above for more on me, but for now, here’s a picture:

Greetings from sunny Santa Barbara, CA
Now, onto business.

God’s Loophole
At the end of next month, Dan’s releasing God’s Loophole, the first book in his latest trilogy. I’ve already had the pleasure of reading it, and you don’t want to miss out on this. If you’ve read Broken Symmetry, you are definitely going to want to pick this book up—they both have the same awesome elements. (And if you haven’t picked up Broken Symmetry, DO IT. So good.)

Description of God’s Loophole
Gabe Coolridge’s prom night is cut short when he gets a frantic call from his older brother Jeremy, the Stanford University dropout turned CEO of this year’s hottest tech startup. He’s talking about things Gabe doesn’t understand—venture capitalists, prototypes, million dollar IPOs; he’s stumbled on something big and he needs people he can trust. He needs Gabe.

Nicknamed “the bubble”, Jeremy’s invention isolates users from reality and lets them directly experience quantum effects. Inside the bubble, humans can even manipulate individual atoms. For the computer industry, it’s a dream come true.

Except the bubble may have side effects.

After being inside the bubble for only a few minutes, Gabe feels a strange desire to go inside again. He has nightmares and wakes up vomiting in the middle of the night with no idea who he is. Even more troubling, the bubble seems to eat through every kind of radiation shielding known to man…whether it’s plugged in or not.

Now, ever since that first time in the bubble, Gabe has been harboring a terrifying secret—a power, whose addictive pull he finds harder and harder to resist with each passing day: he’s developed the ability to move objects with his mind.
